The VOLTA HEALTHCARE INITIATIVE
The Volta Healthcare Initiative, in partnership with TIYAC, is focused on strengthening rural health care systems in Ghana. A capable clinical team without reliable equipment, connectivity, or supplies cannot deliver the care its community needs. The Volta Healthcare Initiative works to close the infrastructure gaps that separate rural communities from quality care.

- Supplying critical infrastructure, including satellite internet connectivity that keeps rural hospitals connected to specialists, records systems, and emergency support
- Supporting the broader systems, from supplies to logistics, that allow rural health facilities to deliver consistent care
The Christmas enrichment program
Each December, the Addae Family Foundation convenes more than 100 children in Anfoega, Volta Region for its annual Christmas Enrichment Program. This initiative is designed to support child development, foster community connection, and create spaces where children feel seen, supported, and valued.
The program combined structured enrichment activities with opportunities for play and creative expression. Children participated in games, art activities, shared meals, and received gifts as part of a broader effort to promote social engagement, confidence, and positive developmental experiences.
Beyond celebration, the Christmas Enrichment Program reflects the Foundation’s commitment to holistic community development—recognizing that environments of care, joy, and belonging are essential to children’s growth and long-term wellbeing. By investing in experiences that strengthen both individual children and community ties, the Foundation advances its mission of creating generational impact.

Community Investment Grants will be the Addae Family Foundation's annual grantmaking program, funding infrastructure and community projects across rural Ghana. Where our other programs deliver support directly, the grants program will invest in what communities have already decided to build.
Grants will fund projects in areas including:

The most durable development is not delivered from outside but built from within, by local leaders and organizations with the knowledge, relationships, and stake to see it through. What those efforts often lack is not vision but capital.
Community Investment Grants will supply that capital. By funding both physical infrastructure and the programs that make communities work, the grants will strengthen local economies, sustain the institutions residents rely on, and give young people reasons to build their futures at home.
